Playing a new tennis game

Learning Goal-We are learning to follow a structure of a recount.

I can give my recount writing a Title that tells the reader what the story will be about

I can write an introduction with a good hook.

I can write the middle with different paragraphs

I can write a conclusion with a personal comment

I can leave a space between the introduction, the middle paragraphs and the conclusion

On Tuesday we had Tennis and I was so excited because we were going to play a new tennis game in the courts.We needed teams so Mrs Middleton came with Sateki and Opeti to our group so Sateki,Opeti,Christopher,Alfred and I were a team.When they came we were super excited to play.Opeti and I were on one side and Alfred and Christopher was on the other side and Sateki was out waiting for someone to be out.

So I started off with a serve and when I served it it was too short and hit the net so I was out and Sateki comes in and he has to serve because who ever comes in serves.Sateki serves it,it goes over the net and goes to Alfred and Alfred hits it too hard and goes over their heads.So I go in and replace Alfred.So we start playing again but then Coach Campbell calls us to listen to him because some people weren’t doing it right.So then he says “now let’s see who can do a rally over 5.

So then we start,I serve it and Opeti hits it back and goes to Christopher and Christopher hits it but it went out and then Coach Campbell comes and says “have you guys got up to 5” but we said no.So he says “oh it’s alright let me see you guys play.”So we played,Opeti serves it to Alfred,Alfred hits it but goes to Coach Campbell so he hit’s it to Opeti and Opeti hit’s it to Christopher then he hit’s it to me and I hit it to Christopher then try’s to hit it to us but goes to Coach Campbell so he hits it to Opeti and he hit’s it to Alfred and Alfred hit’s too hard and goes over our heads.“YAY WE GOT NINE”we all shout,“Yeah that’s just because I helped you guys.”So then we play and again but without coach and we did the same thing but got 8 and then it was time to go.
