For this activity, compare and contrast these two aviators. You could use this venn diagram.
On your blog, share your comparison between the two women and be sure to include at least three similarities and three differences between these two aviators.
Hi Laki.
ReplyDeleteIt's Lukas. Great to see you blog posting.
I can't tell which is which isn't Amelia Earhart on the left and Jean Batten on the right side. Maybe fix it so we can know who's which.
You did great job on the similarities and differences so keep up the good work Laki.
Great work!
Kind Regards
Lukas
Hi Laki, this is Mrs Collins from Manaiakalani and I'll be commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I really like the venn diagram you have created about two awesome aviators - do you want to be a pilot when you leave school, or maybe a flight engineer? Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!
ReplyDeleteHi Heather,
DeleteThank you for your positive comment. I wouldn't become a flight engineer or a pilot when I leave school because I just think thats a little to much for me.
Thank you!
Malo e lelei Laki,
ReplyDeleteIts me Christopher!
I agree with Lukas I can't tell which is which.
You should've put theirs names underneath their photos.
I like the display of the google drawing you have made because it is colorful and sometimes the color atracts peoples attention. But what are the world records they hold? What different areas do they come from?
Besides that your doing amazing. Keep it up! Also have a great holiday!
Kind Regards
Christopher
Talofa lava Laki!
ReplyDeleteI love how you set up your venn diagram although I found the information hard to differentiate! Other than that keep up the great work!

Kia Ora Laki,
ReplyDeleteWell done on creating a DLO and filling it with information about both Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart. Did you know there is a school in Mangere named Jean Batten School? I wonder if Amelia Earhart has a school named after her. Do you think you would want to be a pilot when you are older? The technology used to build planes is very different now and the planes are very safe compared to when Amelia and Jean were flying.
