Summer Learning Journey Week 1:Day 4

For this activity, imagine that you were allowed to change your name to anything that you wanted.

On your blog, tell us what you would change your name to and why you would choose that name.

  1. That is good that you wouldn't change your name,
I also live with you Laki so if you changed your name you will be in big trouble. Malo Aupito

    1. Hey Christopher,
Of course I would change my middle, I would have changed it to Moeakeola because it is my Grandfather's middle name! :)

  3. Hello Laki.

That's cool that you wouldn't change your name because you were named after a relative! If you don't mind me asking, does the name'Laki' have any meaning behind it? If so, what does it mean?

    Looking forward to your response!

  4. Kia ora Laki,

I liked the way you thought about this activity. It's strange imagining a different name right?! I think Laki is a great name! :)

When I think about changing my name I can't think of anything... mainly because I can't imagine getting used to a whole NEW name. Imagine someone calling out your name and you don't realise they are talking to you.

Do you think people should be able to change their name if they want to at any time? Or do you think we should keep our given names! Tough question, but curious to know what you think! :)
