Summer Learning Journey Week 1:Day 2

For this activity, let’s imagine that you were Neil Armstrong.
On your blog, write a short poem describing how you felt when you first set foot on the moon. Here is a link to some different poetry forms.

  1. Hi Laki.
    It's Lukas.
    Great Work!
Great to see you blogging Laki. Your poem is so good. I like how you put the moon for the background of your writing because it just feels like your in space!
    Keep up the great work!

    Kind Regards
    Lukas

  2. Hi Laki,
    Its me Christopher.
Great to see your upto date!
Also the kind of poem you chose is great.
I remember last year everytime we did poems I would always do haikus.

But I think you could've put more effort into this because
if you fall off the moon you will be floating because there is no gravity.
Also what was making you laugh?

Besides that I think your doing great! Also if you want more points you could comment on other peoples post! Have a great holiday!

  3. Kia ora Laki,

You did a fantastic job describing what it would feel like if you were on the moon. I love the way you created a Haiku! Very creative! :)

I really liked the colour and image you used to present your poem. Ka pai!

I have often thought about what it would be like to travel into space. I think if I had the opportunity to go there, I would probably stay because I'd miss my friends and family so much! Neil Armstrong was so brave going to the moon.

If you had the opportunity, would you go to the moon? I think the view would be phenomenal!
