It is a small bird but it is a treasure to the world.
Black robins live in woody vegetation, beneath the canopy of trees on South East(Rangatira) Island and Mangere Island in the Chatham Islands,
Black robins forage in the leaf litter on the ground for grubs, cockroaches, weta, and worms.
