Activity 1: A Flying Fox
On your blog, tell us how you would feel about going ziplining in Rotorua. Try to use some descriptive words (adjectives) and action words (verbs) in your post!.
I think that ziplining is pretty cool.
Words to describe it would be Nerve-wrecking and Amazing.

ReplyDeleteThose are some great descriptive words to use when thinking about how you would feel to go ziplining. I'm sure you already know about flying foxes. You can basically think of ziplining as something that is a bit larger in size. Both are still quite similar because they are propelled by gravity to travel from the top to the bottom of the cable.
Do you think you would be able to go ziplining in Rotorua? Have you seen the photos on our SLJ website? I personally think I'd be too scared of heights to go on the zip-line but I wouldn't think twice if I had to choose one between ziplinging or bungee jumping! (At least you'd feel secure on a zip-line).
Let me know what you would choose out of the two!

ReplyDeleteWell done on finishing this activity. I would also like to go zip lining in Rotorua. I definitely agree with you, it looks really scary and nerve racking but I think that I will give it a go. Hopefully I don't fall off of it! Keep up the good work.
