Activity 2-The treaty of Waitangi
On your blog, tell us three fun things that you can do as a visitor in Waitangi. Which one would you like to do the most?
1.You can learn about the Maori Culture and the historical events associated with the signing of the treaty.
2.You can visit the the Treaty house to see the replica of the original treaty.
3. You can explore the small semi-formal garden that surrounds the Treaty House
I like the one when you can visit the treaty house and see a replica of the original treaty.
Bonus Activity- #EarnTheFern
On your blog, write four questions that you would ask Bill Kini.
1.Who inspired you to do Boxing?
2.Have you ever had a bad injury?
3.Did you want to join Boxing?
4.When did you start boxing?
Hi Laki,
ReplyDeleteRuby here from the Summer Learning Journey team! It's great to see that you've been working on these activities. Well done!
Activity 1: Great work translating those sentences. It was a good idea to post the English and Maori translations. Remember to put your name into sentence 2, otherwise it won't make sense!
Activity 2: Great ideas for what you could do if you visited Waitangi. I've been to Waitangi a few times and always enjoy walking around the grounds and seeing the history of Aotearoa. Have you ever been to Waitangi before?
Bonus Activity: Those are great questions! I like how you have thought of open ended questions that will get more than a yes or no answer. How many hours a week do you think he would have had to practice?
I look forward to reading more of your blog over summer.
Cheers,
Ruby.
