On your blog tell us what you think about the fact that women were not allowed to vote in Saudi Arabia until 2015. Is it fair? Why or why not?
I think it is not fair because Men will be voting and some women might disagree with them and vote for someone else.

Read the poem. On your blog, tell us what you think of the poem. Do you like it? How does it make you feel?
I really like the poem,it makes me feel sad because of how the soldiers die.

  1. Hey there Laki, thanks for completing another set of activities. You've been blogging lots during your summer break and it's awesome to see.

Thank you for sharing this cathedral. It's interesting that it was partly built in 1145 and then re constructed. Why do you think that was? What made you choose this church?

I've enjoyed reading your thoughts on the voting situation in Saudi Arabia for women. It's a shame it took them so long to give women the vote, but at least they finally did. You make a good point, women should be able to vote because all of the law changes affect them too.

I liked the poem as well, it made me sad thinking about the soldiers who have died and also their family members who lost husbands, brothers and sons. It also makes me feel proud though, I feel proud that I live in New Zealand - a free country, and it's all thanks to these soldiers and their sacrifices.

    Thank you Laki, great work.
    Billy
