DAY 4: More than Meets the Eye
Let’s imagine that you met Sir Edmund Hillary in real life and were able to interview him.
On your blog, post five questions that you would like to ask Sir Edmund Hillary about his life.
1) How long did it take for you to climb Mount Everest?
2) How does it feel to have your face on the five dollar note?
3) Did you want to climb Mount Everest by yourself?
4) Were you excited to climb Mount Everest?
5) Would you climb Mount Everest again?
Good afternooon Laki,
ReplyDeleteYou have put together an interesting list of questions to ask Sir Edmund Hillary during an interview. I think it is really important that you interview him about his initial thoughts before climbing the mountain, such as asking whether if he wanted to climb Mount Everest on his own or not.
I would also like to ask him about how he felt once he reached the summit. I'm sure it would be indescribable in words... What are your thoughts?
If you could interview anyone else who has made a huge success in NZ, who would it be?

Hi Laki,
ReplyDeleteWell done on finishing this activity. I think that the questions you have come up with to ask Sir Edmund Hillary are great. My favorite one is the first one. It must have taken him so long to climb up the huge mountain. If you had the chance, would you climb Mt Everest? Keep up the good work.
