  1. Kia ora Laki,

Ka pai for getting all the answers correct for your fish facts! Did you enjoy reading through different fun facts about fish on the website? What did you find most interesting?

I think it is pretty cool how most fish have taste buds all over their body. We taste food with our the taste buds on our tongue which sends our brain a message to give us information about whether the food is salty, sweet, sour or bitter. And of course we use our sense of smell to help us taste the flavour as well. I wonder how the whole system works for fish!

Were you able to find out the proper term for calling a group of fish that swim together? They are not called 'classes' but they're called 's......'. I'll leave it to you to fill in the gap for me :)

    Kia pai to rā,
    Susie

  2. Hi Laki,
Great job on completing this activity! You did a great job working out which facts are true and which ones are false. Which one did you like the best? I found the third one interesting because the name 'starfish' is kind of tricky because it is not actually a fish. Keep up the good work.
